Ginisang Pechay (Sauteed Bokchoy)

A popular filipino dish that is very easy to make, delicious, budget friendly, and most importantly very HEALTHY! Bokchoy is rich in Vitamins C, K, A and a lot more good nutrients! I also added some ground beef to the dish for some protein! ALWAYS MAKE IT BALANCE PEEPS! There are a lot of different ways to cook this dish but this particular recipe will definitely fit your budget!




Ingredients & Measurements

  • 1lb bokchoy (pechay) chopped

  • 1lb ground beef

  • 2tbsp oil

  • 1 medium onion

  • 2tsp salt

  • 2tsp pepper

  • 1 1/2 cup of water

  • 1 beef cube

  • 3-4 tbsp of fish sauce


Method:

  1. In a hot pan with oil, add onions and saute for about 1 minute

  2. Add ground beef and cook for about 5 mins or until brown

  3. Add beef cube and mix

  4. Add bokchoy

  5. Add water and at the same time, add the fish sauce

  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes

  7. Serve and Enjoy!
