Eggplant in Oyster Sauce

A very simple dish with only three main ingredients, eggplants, ground beef, and oyster sauce. Perfect dish to cook if you don't have a lot of time in your hands! Very easy yet very delicious! Best served with steamed rice. Try this recipe and let me know what you think!


Ingredients & Measurements:

  • 1 medium onion (sliced)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4-5 eggplants (cut)

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar


Method:


  1. In a hot pan with oil, cook the onions for about 1 minute

  2. Add ground beef and cook for about 5-10 mins or until brown

  3. Add pepper, salt, garlic powder and mix

  4. Put the eggplants and mix well with other ingredients

  5. Add water to help the eggplants cook evenly

  6. Then add oyster sauce and mix again

  7. Finally add the sugar (you can also add some red chilli to give it an extra kick!)

  8. Serve and Enjoy!
